X-Men: First Class

Was actually pretty damn good.

Mind you, I went in with low expectations considering the fecal matter that was X3: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However those aside I found the First Class film to be a good movie all around. Great character development and a rousing performance from James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. I would not mind going to see that movie again.

Also, Kevin Bacon’s the main villain. Who woulda thunk it?

You know, it’s rare that I actually get to do anything with my mother. I see her everyday, yet I don’t really get to DO anything with her aside from eating dinner with her. So my brother and I decided to take her to Disneyland today for her birthday. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun. It was nice visiting the attractions with her, considering that she hasn’t been to the park in over 5 years so she was very excited and happy. I know she drives me crazy occasionally, but dammit, I love my mom.

Also, there’s an attendant working at the Finding Nemo attraction named Shaq. Pretty damn awesome.

Okay, so tonight I happened to see a family walk by (Mother, Father, two children) and the father wore a shirt that depicted the McDonald’s “M” logo but made of marijuana leaves with the word “Marijuana” below it. Now, I’m adamant against drug use to start with, but the fact that this asshole had the gaul to wear it with HIS DAMN CHILDREN with him is downright disgusting. How can someone be so fucking immature that you advertise that crap with your children in tow? Grow the fuck up and start acting your age, assholes out there.

You know, I always disliked sushi before. Not HATED it, per se, but just generally disliked it.. Probably because it’s raw fish. That’s what always bugged me, like, how can people eat food that’s not cooked? That’s what really irked me. Then, lo and behold I try the stuff and now it’s one of my favorite damn foods to eat. I need to eat sushi at LEAST once a week now… I can’t get enough of the stuff.

I can’t recall the last time I had a nightmare, but it was potent enough for it to wake me up at 5 in the morning. In the dream I was running down my block being chased (from what I remember, it was a crazy old lady… like the crazy cat lady from The Simpsons) And no matter how hard I ran it didn’t feel like it was fast enough. Oy. No wonder I’m tired.

Why couldn’t I have one of my more enjoyable dreams? Like a sex dream? Haha
